B1 protection recovery

Just took my droid squad out to test and noticed several problems. Firstly, B1’s basic does not appear to be regenerating protection for droid allies when attacking target locked enemies. He is giving everyone health just fine, but not protection. And Magnaguard keeps dying without getting his bonus turn. Anyone else having these issues?
