The defending team is supposed to hold their positions. It held its position. It succeeded.
The attackers are supposed to conquer that position by defeating the defenders. They didn't. They failed.
So if 100% in a situation where 100% of the attackers will fail, whats the fun to keep playing?
To develop a better roster, startegy, and other things to improve the situation in your favor and never have to run into a situation where you dont beat the opponent according to the rules of engagement.
If you are losing 100% of the time (especially if they are all draws) you may just be being out classed, or not be working with the best strategy.

Sure - they can just change the end of match message from Draw to Defeat.
As in you failed to defeat everyone. There's no half points in arena.
