Does the nature of the reworked Corrupted Battle Meditation and the zeta on Force Bond prevent Traya with corrupted meditation from using Isolate or Thrawn from using fracture?
No, not does it prevent JKR from applying mark. Those are locked debuffs
Locked debuffsare just uncleanseable doesnt mean you cant prevent them from happening. We never had something like this so it could very well be that mark, isolate and fracture wont work
If locked buffs will always be applied, then locked debuffs will also always be applied
They wont always be applied they just cant be cleansed. Real question here is irresistable debuffs and preventing them, which one is stronger

No, they will always be applied. That's how locked buffs work. You cant prevent them in anyway.

That is just not correct
@Sarithlekith look at JTR, JKR, revan, and Traya. The kit descriptions for every single locked debuff in the game (besides thermals) says it cannot be resisted. It’s kind of like turn meter removal. Vader TM cannot be removed, even against attacks that are unresistable TMR. So like in unresistable debuffs, those cannot be resisted, which override dark bastila’s CBM.
So, she gets abilities with can't be evaded, cant be resisted, and can't be dispelled. And we haven't even seen the leader ability yet.
Eesh.
That's what I was thinking. But then again, for users who aren't getting Darth Revan the first go around can continue to utilize Badstila but even more so now. 👍
Yep. I dont see how she isnt a win condition on almost any team now. Plug and play.

Locked thing indicates that it cant be cleansed. Not that it cant be resisted. Take a look at deathtrooper's deathmark, which cant be ressisted but is not locked. Locked this just represents it cant be cleansed nothing else
I'm not going to get DR this time, but I might go ahead and G12 Maul and Sass.
TM buff from Sass, double stun from Fastilla + AOE stagger and speed down + AOE Daze from Maul to trigger the stagger. So you end up with an entire team with zero TM, daze, speed down, offense down, and crit damage down that will have a very hard time critting or countering. Mauls AOE will cancel the fear but might not matter.
And good luck killing SiT stacked with D and with a Crit Avoidance arrow when you have -30/60% crit chance and AOE offense down and crit damage down.
And maybe this will buff Maurader? Thats a whole lotta debuffs.

Not a fan of kits that are so specific in needing a particular character (on either side) for something to work. That severely limits the types of teams that can be built.
Consider Fear as a soft stun. It’ll act like stun if you leave them alone. However if you choose to attack a target affected by fear that’s when the Can’t evade and increase CDs help. So when the target loses fear they are forced to basic attack as their CDs have increased, along with the string of debuff from the ability itself.

Locked debuffs can be resisted right now, look at plague.
OK, a simple question: Badstilla locks all your current toon's skills. It is your turn. You cannot do ANYTHING, and you cannot skip to your next toon either. So you sit there and watch dumbly until the match ends? Great, a fast Badstilla made winning on defense a guarantee through unpreventable timeout...

So, given that corrupt battle meditation prevents your toons from landing debuffs "when they use an ability" does that mean that bast can still land corrupt battle meditation while inflicted with it?

While I do agree, it seems like beyond DR/NastyBasty/HK there's a bit of leeway with who you use in the other 2 slots, though presumably one will need to be Sith Trooper or Sion in order to compete. Compare that to the current "if you don't use JKR/Jolee/Bastila/GMY/GK, you get absolutely crushed" situation.
Granted, we won't know for sure until DR is actually here.

Yeah this is a big thing, we will likely end up with lots of darth revan mirror matches like we currently do JKR, and surely just having a faster bastila is a major factor for winning this matchup?
If bastila can't inflict her CBM nor fear nor the other debuffs of the team then it kinda cripples the team. I would be interested to see what the full effects of this "can't inflict debuffs" line are.

That's why I suggested that she can still inflict it even while having it herself. It doesn't come from an ability, it's her unique. If it wasn't like that, the faster bastila would have way too much advantage

Hmm yeah it's auto on her turn isn't it, so it would go through. Then both teams would have semi-perma corruption and can't land standard debuffs though - which will be odd! Maybe we'll have better judgement with revans kit reveal

Could be wrong.
DSBS inflicts fear now not stun
You should have seen this coming and farmed to get DR. Then you would have been apart of the meta

Rather have fun than constant mirror matches.
It lasts for one turn, like a stun
