Please investigate this scenario or edit the text as, "even hk47 is dead, all the hk47 unique abilities will continue working..."
The precedent seems to be to mention if a Unique only applies while a character is active. E.g., see Barriss's Swift Recovery ("This effect is disabled while Barriss is defeated") and GK's Soresu ("if General Kenobi is alive"). So if they don't say something like that, then a Unique that applies to others *should* last for the whole battle.

Regarding HK led droids, which haven’t been relevant since the tank raid was released, just let the past die. Kill it if you have to.

Maybe dead from the meta, but HK still allowed for useful GA and TW teams. HK, IG-88, T3, IPD, and L3 made for a great team with target lock synergy. Now that HK does not have his lead anymore, that team has no leader. It’s fine that HK was reworked to have more Revan synergy than droid synergy, but it left a void in the droid faction. He was one of only two good droid leaders.
Why does he gain + potency as synergy? His only debuff is inflicting tenacity down, which bypasses tenacity in its own and will land either way. So the Potency bonus is nice to read but useless in application.
Or am I missing something?
And they should also adjust sith trooper so he will gain his buffs when hk does his skills, since he does not have a sith tag.

Really what is terrible is that when his lead changes, everyone's droids will be null and void until we get a new leader. And I love how this lead never once caused a loop ever in 3 years yet people are yelling "loop" as if they understand nothing about the game.
We already have the iconic droids too, so... what exactly will be a new droid release with a lead that makes droids good again?
My best hope, and to please those people who like to see things make sense with the lore of Star Wars, is that Poggle could get a nice rework to run Droids and the other geonosians. I think he probably makes the most sense at this point..
