What does the traffic jam in arena mean to you?
1) Same old Same old, just different teams?
2) Time to pry open the wallet and buy, errr build a winning team?

4) It's reduced my desire to play as much, I enter retreat twice, done until tomorrow.
Me, I used to compete with the daily amount of matches. Now, enter, retreat, rinse repeat.

Sadly, there's not even a need to do more. Everything is decided by mods, so the arena has become incredibly static. I rarely move more than 10 places in either way.
First win in 3 days (rest have been draws). But I will only savor it for a few seconds, then back to where I was or worse. LOL I was 73 the other day >.<

Yeah nature of this beast we're riding on. If they replaced it with another system of prizes for high performing, that would also be similarly time consuming (+all else that goes into it). There has to be something differentiating crystal prizes, if everyone was getting them, we'd be at point 0. So yeah, I'm a defeatist in this aspect of the game.
My CLS squad on offense can beat most Revan lineups. I just don’t make it a goal to climb the ranks anymore because I’ll get shoved right back down within minutes. I keep them within a happy medium of 50-150 rankings.
Aside from the daily crystals, I’ve purchased everything possible from the arena store. Just don’t make squad arena a priority. There’s more other fun things to participate in-game than just squad arena. Grand Arena and Territory Wars are more rewarding by far.
I feel your pain, but welcome to the jungle. EA and CG have different plans in mind than just SA. Metas are more important for TW and GA instead nowadays.
I have never tried for #1, I'm an old school MMO player. I know all to well, "There is always a bigger fish"
Yeah but noone is trying to be world #1 or stay there. The name of the game is to be there amongst 2k or such other players at a certain second everyday.
9 months of marquees and then 4+ months of legendaries has me not caring much. Game is getting stale fast. Hopefully the next content we get is FUN instead of “arduous”. @CG_Carrie

Seriously, a tank with AOE daze....solid toon. And if I were starting her from scratch today I'd probably stop at G11 and no zeta, but it was absolutely worth it to be able to take first during the EP meta.
I'm also 100% f2p. There is another 100% f2p on my shard and about 8 others who have spent <$100 that are reaching top spots. We have a small handful who have shared they have spent over 20k on this game. Those that complain should
1. spend time getting better
2. Become p2w
3. Stop complaining, or
4. Find a new hobby that is enjoyable
