I remember the days when there was no year-long meta. It wasn't that long ago. There were no paragraphs used to describe a special or even a basic ability, but then CG started trying to manipulate the meta for cash flow. Now it's completely broken. Be it the standard arena with 98% JKR teams from 1-125 or ships arena with 100% home/falcon/rebels from 1-50, the meta is broken.
It should not take "research" to find a team that beats the "meta." Synergies used to be easily decifered by reading the easy-to-understand abilities of each toon. Now there is a new ability for every single toon that is dropped.
I'm not sure that it can be fixed by any means other than blowing it up, nerfing JKR and half of the new toons, and putting synergies back on top of the mountain where they belong.
This game was much more fun when you could put together different teams and be fighting different teams. Not putting together the exact same team as everyone else and timing your battles to get to pay dirt.
Please fix this. Start over with arena and Make SWGOH Great Again.
