Fix MODS

I farm, slice, level 5-10 mods per day for about 6 months. The highest speed mod I have got in 6 months is +16 speed. I have 0 mods over 23 speed. I farm mods daily and get NOTHING! Meanwhile EVERY top 20 in my arena except me has on average 3 +25 speed mods and get roughly 1 month. Give us the option to pick what ability we can level. Make it random what four stats you get but then pick what I'm slicing. I'm tired of being 0 for 150 a month for 6 months straight and paying crystals to get slicing mats to have opponents get them without even trying hard.

I'm seriously fed up...whaling doesn't even fix it...when RNG has me 0 of 150 x 6 months.

  • Han, dude. I was farming crit chance 5 dot triangle mod for over 7 month, and there was no chance to buy it from the store

    If you picked what rolled on slicing, everyone would have the same mods and there'd be no reason to have mods in the first place.

    I wasn't around pre-mods but I'm told it was awful.

    It's all random, and it's designed to be the infinite resource sink to allow for the game to have an indefinite endgame.

    Your rivals in the arena had the same dice you did. By chance, some roll better and some roll worse. You'll still get better results on average for more investment even if those dice have not been in your favor.

    There's nothing to fix. Nothing is broken.

  • Pre mods was easy...if a mod already had speed on it and you leveled it....it only leveled speed. Therefore a green mod with speed showing was a god send.

    And it maxed out at +12 (or +11, I forget if a starting +6 is actually a thing).

    I don't have much use for +12's anymore unless I'm bringing a new toon on-line.

    So there was a time when mod with speed secondary always leveled speed? Wow! When did it changed?

    A green would show one stat at level 1. At 3 it would boost that stat. Then at 6 9 and 12 it would add the other three stats. And that was the most it would ever have.

    So a green with a +5 showing would go to a +8, 9, 10, or 11. And never any higher.

    Only if it was green. A blue/purple/gold mod had a chance of rolling any of the stats that were showing at level 1.
