  They probably got a lot of applicants and need to sort threw all of them before they will make any statements.
  
  There was probably a large window where they wanted to wait to make sure everyone who wanted to could get an application in.

  I would think they would reach out to people when the spin up for the next beta, which would probably be LS GeoTB. Not sure when that is coming. But that's just my suspicion, not based in any information.
