People who took advantage of the glitch get rewarded but no one else?

I have no idea where CG gets their logic from. Event gets released with a glitch, some people take advantage of it. Event gets pulled and then they decide to reward ONLY the people who took advantage of the glitch (500 crystals aside)?

    Seriously! What are they gonna do this time? I spent 2800 crystals to be ready and then mid game it gets pulled! So I spent 20 bucks and used zetas for nothing!!! And all I am gonna get back is 500 crystals in a week or so? NOT COOL!
