looking back

I am new to this fandom, so people don't know anything about me, but i am a HUGE fan of extended universe. This is mostly to just tell people: If you have never read the Thrawn trillogy by Timothy Zahn, you are missing out. This is the legends origin story of thrawn, and it shows how kick *** he is. If any of you guys love any Star Wars paperback/hardcovers from 1977-1995, just talk about them here. I've read every book, and would love to discuss any of them you you guys.
"But," he whispered, "it was so artistically done"
The smile faded. The glow in his eyes did likewise... and Thrawn, the last Grand Admiral, was gone.
