UNIT NAME: The Mandalorian
ALIGNMENT: Light
CATEGORIES: Attacker, Bounty Hunter, Scoundrel, Leader
Powerful Mandalorian bounty hunter who relies on critical hits to overwhelm his enemies

[Developer Insight - Kit Reveal]

ABILITIES:

Basic: SWIFT SHOT

FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and gain Critical Chance Up for 2 turns. On a critical hit, grant another random Bounty Hunter ally Critical Chance Up for 2 turns who does not already have it.

Special 1: TRANSPIERCE (Cooldown 3)

FINAL TEXT: Deal Physical damage to target enemy and call another target Bounty Hunter ally to assist. Then the Mandalorian and the assisting ally gain Critical Damage Up for 2 turns.

Leader: ASSET ACQUISITION

FINAL TEXT: (ZETA) All Scoundrel allies have +20 Speed, +35% Tenacity, and +30% Critical Chance. When the Mandalorian is in the Leader slot, and not the Ally slot, the following Contract is active:

Contract: While buffed, score critical hits against enemies 20 times. (Only Bounty Hunter abilities can contribute to this Contract)

Reward: For the rest of the battle, all Bounty Hunter allies have their Payouts activated and gain the following: while a Bounty Hunter ally is attacking, they have +20% Offense and Health Steal for each buffed ally.

Unique 1: DISCIPLINED BOUNTY HUNTER

FINAL TEXT: (ZETA) Each time the Mandalorian scores a critical hit, he gains 30% Turn Meter and other Bounty Hunter allies gain half that amount. At the start of encounter, the Mandalorian has Bounty Hunter's Resolve until he is defeated.

THE MANDALORIAN PAYOUT

FINAL TEXT: Whenever the Mandalorian receives a Reward from a Contract, he also gains the following Payout. (Contracts are granted by certain Bounty Hunter Leader Abilities.)

Payout: Grant the Mandalorian +50% Critical Damage and the Special ability Disintegrate until end of battle.

Disintegrate: While the Mandalorian has Critical Chance Up or Critical Damage Up, this ability instantly defeats target enemy, which can't be evaded. Enemies defeated by this ability can't be revived.

Each time the Mandalorian scores a critical hit while buffed, reduce the cooldown of this ability by 1 (Cooldown: 8).

Granted Ability: Disintegrate (Cooldown 8)

DESCRIPTION: While the Mandalorian has Critical Chance Up or Critical Damage Up, this ability instantly defeats target enemy, which can't be evaded. Enemies defeated by this ability can't be revived.

Each time the Mandalorian scores a critical hit while buffed, reduce the cooldown of this ability by 1.

(Only visible in combat when unavailable): This ability can't be used unless the Mandalorian has Critical Chance Up or Critical Damage Up at the start of his turn

will it kill a GL in one hit?
  • So disintegrate operates like embo's extra attack. Sounds cool, feels a little lack luster other than his annihilate

No, we already know they take massive damage from destroy effects.

Nope. It'll do massive damage instead. It's a destroy effect.

99,999 damage, or 69,999 damage if they have a zeta on the Galactic Legend Unique.
  • Does disintegrate start on cooldown when the payout is activated, or can he use it immediately? It’s strong either way, but instant death vs. death shortly after makes a difference.
  • Ah man really no full beskar mando?
  • No. GL's are immune to destroy effects (excluding raid bosses) and instead take massive damage (99,999).
  • +5 speed, really? That is like an extra grey mod.
  • I see great potential in a Jango line up if you leave Dengar on the bench, nice

Yeah it’s a very bad lead. Not even worth the zeta unless it’s for each scoundrel or each BH ally

I feel like it has to be. @CG_SBCrumb Can you double check the wording here?

Looks like we had the first tier and not the last tier listed. Fixed! Thanks for the heads up

You mean only visible when AVAILABLE? Wouldn't make much sense to only be visible when it's unavailable to use.
  • Up to 100% bonus offense sounds nice, especially for the heavier hitters like Jango and Embo.

“Only visible when unavailable” probably refers to the reminder text, not the actual ability.

  • Ah man really no full beskar mando?

    This leaves the opportunity for:

    S P O I L E R S

    Galactic Legend Din Djarin
  • Am I reading too much into this? Feels like this won’t be the only iteration of the Mandolorian in this game.

    No, same effect as DN
  • Does disintegrate start on cooldown when the payout is activated, or can he use it immediately? It’s strong either way, but instant death vs. death shortly after makes a difference.
It looks like it’s available for instant use once he gets his payout; however, even if the cooldown is reset, he can’t use it Unless he has critical chance or critical damage up.
  • This should be "Bounty Hunter or Scoundrel ally" to work with Cara if you want to run them together, even if the team isn't as good as all Bounty Hunters.

i assume that the armor right? (i didnt really watch the show yet)
but if so it could mean a second mando coming thats even better
  • So bossk lead, the fetts, greedo and mando then?

It should just be "Scoundrel ally" since all bounty hunters are also tagged as scoundrels.

How about Greef Karga? I don't think Greedo is better than him unless you get a lucky shooting spree from green alien

Kinda defeats the purpose of the name.

If I'm reading this kit correctly you have to trigger the contract first, then reduce cooldown 8 for the Disintegrate to be ready
  • @CG_SBCrumb can you confirm if disintegrate is immediate at payout or if it becomes active and available after the cooldown of 8?
  • So, the real question is when is baby yoda coming?
