...and it's ships again... huge disappointment. Are all GAC's going to include ships from now on? It's been months since we've had a real GAC. How about a little variety? I'd like to see 50% with and 50% without.
Ships are the real GAC. Because ships are part of nearly every other game mode too.
It’s also to cater for different types of players. A lot of us actually really enjoy 3v3.
I can't understand why. The game just wasn't designed for it. It was designed for 5v5. And now with units that can summon one, it makes it 4v3 and unwinnable in most cases.

You hate it because you have to actually understand kits; which you obviously don't if you think it's 5v5 or nothing. Forget today teams, and look at individual kits, and you'll find way more teams to use in different contexts than is viable in 5v5. That's why 3v3 is fun. Knowledge and imagination, rather than just looking at a list of teams to use.
3v3 can be fun, but the issue with this is that we have no idea how a 3v3 team can handle the GL’s and if it’s way too much of an unfair advantage. If only there were some sort of mode where we could test that...hmmmm
Don't care for the GL I won't see them for a long long long time and by the time I get to that point they won't be relevant enough.
Me either, but I would like to know how to counter them with a lower manned team. Which loops back to the sandbox issue lol
I dont see them adding sandbox mode its too expansive and not free, so just hope the youtubers will post some videos with a 3 vs 3 set up
But they have no test accounts anymore... ugh...I’ll never get how a game that pulls in over a billion dollars in revenue, could ever cry poor with the “too expansive” excuse...
Because the expense isn't monetary cost, it's developer resources cost.

But this 3v3 is pure hot garbage and I’m not wasting my time or getting my blood pressure up during this global pandemic where tension is already peak.

I love GAC and I have reached Kyber in every GAC so far, progressing through four divisions.
3v3 is a great tactical challenge, putting participants outside of their 5v5 comfort zones and both devise and face all manner of unusual squad compositions.
I will be shooting for Kyber same as always. Maybe I make it, maybe I don't but it wont be for lack of trying.
CG - please continue to vary the GAC configurations, it keeps things fresh and interesting.
I’m sorry for calling the game mode hot garbage. I guess I just don’t want to spend the time and energy figuring out winning teams. If two top teams face off and it’s a draw then it tells me I’m not going to have fun. This is a game. I want to have fun. I’ll do that elsewhere. You can keep the zetas.

What did you do when 5v5 first was introduced?
I get your point. The first time 3v3 came around I thought it was neat. But thems were different times. Fewer unbeatable characters.
I think my main issue is it’s so long between 3v3 that all my saved squads were obsolete. It is what it is. I still think it’s trash.
There are still 0 unbeatable characters in the game
I went back and looked and I had UP back then. So not that much has actually changed, other than Rey and Kylo.
