Does anyone have a list of what legrndarys to farm when, like the order to farm them in? I was thinking Emperor, R2, CLS. Thoughts on that? What comes after that?
The most common path is to get a phoenix squad so you can get Thrawn and Emperor Palap. This starts your empire and jedi squad (2 phoenix members are jedi). Next path is either R2-D2 or Grand Master Yoda. Eventually leading to Commander Luke Skywalker. The youtuber AhnaldT101 made a good guide for 2020: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYT_b3z7O0A&t=688s

Warning: this guide aims at getting you all legendaries at some point (around 5 years), but it is very slow and does not guarantee high arena rank long term. I tested it myself in a Jan 2020 account, when Ahnald first talked about this idea in a youtude video. Still, if arena rank is not a concern, this is the best guide possible.
Arena rank 200-500; fleet 50-100. That's what you get if you start an account in Jan-March 2020, complete all galactic war, zero wasted energy, full refreshes, follow one of the common routes (Separatist, Phoenix, Bastila Jedi,or even first order). With some luck fleet 30-50 is possible. I do my research and experiments SERIOUSLY.

Are you estimating 5 years for all event characters (so including GLs), or just legendaries (r2, bb8, chewie, c3po, padme)? Or something in between?

I agree with you. This is a fine guide if you want to unlock all the legendaries, but that really isn’t the goal for most people. I like the idea of Separatists first then Padme, but after that I think you can do whatever you want.

I read that, doesn't answer the question. Legendary events are a specific type of event, but many players refer to any character obtained through an event as a "legendary" character. This distinction matters for the 5 year estimate, because if it is taking you 5 years to unlock R2, C-3PO, Chewie, BB-8, and Padme you are being very inefficient and probably not playing all the time.

I think what I mean by “legendary” includes every character that is acquired by an event. This includes Kenobi, both Revans, GAS, both Galactic Legends, Padme, CLS, BB8, JTR, Wat Tambor, etc.
This is just for everyone’s understanding of my language during this thread, I understand this is not technically correct, but that is what I meant when I said legendary.

Yup 5 years cause thats an even number!
Can we see the data on the 5 years though?
