GAC-crashing issues

Just lost my GAC due to the game crashing. I only needed to clear ships (div 1, so 2 fleets) but I lost my Malevolence fleet due to their game crashing. I had no problems doing the entire GAC until ships.. I have no problem losing when I should, but losing because the game crashes sucks. Some type of compensation (even like 10 crystals) would be nice. Sheesh
