Clan chat and changing name from Mol Eliza

I know some people have said to factory reset your device to re-do the settings so I can chat with my clan and change my name. Surely that is y the only way to change this setting...

Are the developers going to make this option available because apparently? I’m not the only one, I messed up. I’ve invested a lot in my game, I don’t want to lose everything.

The reason you have to do a factory reset is because they can't make that an option. The background purpose is based on IAP setting and other things that are set by this on your device at the OS level.

They cannot give an option for kids to disable those "protections". It may even be a legal thing, but I'm not sure.
