If you're writing a comment in any thread and you're going to edit it twice within short time (aka within a minute) your comment will get marked by the spam filter which makes it disappear until a mod / admin is looking into it and unmarks it.
Why in the galaxy are you not allowed to correct typos without monitoring? It's extremely annoying to be unable to participate in a conversation just "because".

It measures the time between posts to try and catch spam "attacks". Edits are seen as a new post by the filter and this will cause it to be seen as spam when you edit it too quick.

It will also flag the user, and be more sensetive or even pull their posts for a period of time.
