Yeah he's trying to sell his account

I tried to search more about this but it seems that everything leads to the same answer. "Account progress can't be transfered to new google account" or "He's trying to sell his account".
I really would like to get confirmation myself about this. Only thing keeping me from staying on my current google account(one I created when I was a kid and it's just a junk pile) is SWGOH. I switched everything that I want to a new email address and I would sincerely like to bomb my google account away. I can do it with being linked through facebook only and then delete my account but I'm honestly scared of losing progress.

So the question: Can it be synced with new google account in any way possible?
