How to set up solo raids

I have a Guild member that sets themselves up as the only person to complete raids. He is “soloing” them and making other lower level members very angry. How do I set it up where they still solo, but others can participate in the raid other than joining and letting him do all the work?

Don't let him post his solo run for "x" amount of time. We used to use 30 minutes for Pit, 45 for HAAT. Sith we use Phase 3 complete chat message + 10 minutes.

If he keeps breaking the new rules there's not much you can do, other than remove him.
  • Gotcha. Others just want to participate in the raids, so thank you.

What he said. Set time limits, nicely threaten him, and kick him if it goes too far

It took 15-20 mins to solo HSR. The other members could not put their damage in that timeframe?
Pit and HAAT are simmable, so no soloing problem.
Cpit, no one can solo it yet.

OP mentioned "other lower level members". I doubt that their guild is simming any raids or completing hSTR.

Pretty sure that’s not the point.

Also, OP; if you have a member that is that selfish then perhaps it’s time he gets the boot. You can set up thresholds before attacks can be posted, including solos as a general rule. There’s not actual setting in game to do that, so your guild members need to just abide by that rule. If this person continues to do what he wants, you need to kick him out of the guild.

Our guild takes about 40-45 minutes to get to phase 3 complete without including the SLKR runs. It's really not that unreasonable to set a similar limit.

You do your run, get down to just Traya at the end and then wait until ten minutes after Phase 3 is completed. Or whatever threshold you want to set. Guy can just set his phone down and come back to check every once in a while.

    If not, buh-bye.
  • Beyond what some have advised here, you could also try to alternate start times for the raids, possibly find times that he's not regularly on and schedule them to start then.

But definitely try reaching out, explaining the situation, and see if you can agree on delayed posting of his damage so others can get in on the raid.
