Armorer armor shred

This may be in the wrong place but the armorer's armor shred is not counting as a debuff for 2 things. Caught it during this galactic challenge.
1) jango is not double tapping
2) attacks by jango and mando (OG not beskar) are not counting towards the contract.
I have attached screen shots of before and after calling jango to assist with mando and you can see it still shows 0% contract progress.
I also recorded a video. Can post that if I need to.

Here is the second picture after the call to assist.
Although it’s red like a debuff, it’s not a debuff and the in-game description states that it’s not too
