What are the Bronze Hexagons?

I've noticed that recently when I view my character inventory, some of the characters have a little bronze hexagon just above their heads. I cannot find anything anywhere on the internet to tell me what these mean. Can someone please put me out of my misery?

They're the characters needed for the event that you selected in the journey guide.

Yep - I'd say they are more gold than bronze - if you go to Journey Guide and select the GL and click Begin Journey and you'll then see the toons needs to complete the rosta to get started. then in Characters, you can select Journey Guide and see which ones you need to complete for the GL you selected.

Also, if the characters are Favorited, it will instead turn the Favorite flag from silver to bronze/gold.
