I'm curious why C3PO & HODA, & WAT have accuracy & damage as two of their mastery stats. They also have crit avoidance which is useful for them, but the first two seem pointless when they don't do damage. Though Mon Mothma might share some of her boosted damage with other rebel fights from her stat share.
It would make more sense to have master stats like Jolee (crit avoid, health, resistance). Or for C3PO/WAT, potency?
C3PO, Hoda, Wat are support units, and each support unit have the same mastery, its not specifically chosen per individual toon, they got the short end of the stick (accuracy + damage)
I'm talking besides those characters like JMK that boost mastery stats.
Units gain x amount of specific stats per mastery point, before they changed the mastery ui you could see which stats where directly affected by the mastery stat.
All relic levels add STR, TAC, AGI and mastery.
R9 also adds additional protection and health
So up to r8 a tac tank protection is increasing because relic level is increasing mastery stat.
For example tac tank gains 230 protection per 1 point of mastery stat
So +45 mastery will give 10,350 protection.
In battle when an ability increases or decreases the mastery stat then protection would follow at 230 per 1 mastery stat change
ah- that makes sense. This group just happens to be a subset of tactics support characters that don't do damage, so the mastery doesn't really help much. As Ultra mentioned, it wasn't an issue until it became a requirement to bring these characters to relic.
well at least R9 gives them a protection and extra health boost
Some of those need to be 'updated' to actually help the character.
