Announce relic 7 and 8 not gear 9, 10, 11

The game still announces to the guild when a character reaches gear 9, 10, and 11 but no relics are announced unless you hit the very highest tier. I think reaching relic 7 and 8 are still very noteworthy accomplishments and should show up in the guild's chat line, whereas gear 9, 10, and 11 are not so significant anymore and could be removed. Or announce them all. People like seeing their name repeatedly when they make a gear run

    Or you could allow the guild leader/officers to decide which gear/relic tiers are announced. That way guilds made up of new players can see gear announcements, and guilds with veteran players can see relic 7, 8, and 9 announcements.
    I've found this whole experience to be very enlightening.

    I agree. The gear 9,10,11 spam lowers the signal to noise ratio and devalues the chat as a whole.
