Anyone else not getting notifications?

I haven't changed any settings on my phone or SWGOH app, but when the most recent bigger update happened, I've stopped getting push notifications on my phone for energy refreshes, opening of TW join period, etc.
Has anyone else experienced this? I tried searching the forums for similar posts but haven't seen them, and there hasn't been a post about it from the dev team that I've seen.
