I just watched those episodes.
What bothered me was the fact that in the first two episodes they set up what is actually an interesting conflict: aggressive general who doesn't value his troops, and how the troops respond to it. When do you decide to not follow an order? Is it acceptable for a general to have a high casualty rate if his methods usually work?
Making him go all "mwahaha I am a villain and betrayed you all" at the end kind of ruined this by making everything black and white.
He WAS however totally badass with those lightsabers. And yes, without the crazy plant thing he kills every one of them without breaking a sweat.
I hated that guy. I know you're supposed to dislike the villain, but I disliked him so much that it negatively impacted my enjoyment of those episodes. But to answer your question, he could be a cool Dark Side tank.
+1, I've never been so irritated during a TV show.
Are you serious?
As a matter of fact, I am. The fact that he stood behind the lines - being a Jedi and all was the worst.
The significance of Critical-Utopian Socialism and Communism bears an inverse relation to historical development.
Would love to see that guy in the game, could make him have some serious anti-clone abilities (for when clone squads become viable) along with a strong AoE ability.
I want all characters, but what faction would he be part of, Sith, Jedi, Scoundrel?
Maybe "fallen Jedi?" Ventress could be in that group, I think. Or just "force users?" Dunno. The categories aren't always accurate for current toons anyway
Ventress wasn't a Jedi I don't think. Barriss would fit there though.
She was a padawan until her master died and she gave vengeance for his death. After that, filled with anger, she became seduced by the dark side.

Yup, padawan to ky narec. Does anyone recall if she used force choke? And if so, did she ever kill with it? I don't think she was ever fully dark.
Krell was a horrible character trying to make the clones execute each other by firing squad. Pretty dark stuff.
Wouldn't mind seeing him in the game.
Im not convinced he was as badass with the lightsabers as everyone says. After all he was fighting clones who are 1 step up from stormtroopers and they are only 1 step up from B1 battle droids. I'd have loved to have seen him fight proper jedi.

Tbh, for those first couple episodes, I had the feeling that the final episode would reveal Krell to have had some sort of deep/twisted hatred towards Jango Fett, hence his hatred towards clones.
I, for one, fairly enjoyed that story arc (especially the first couple eps.) but I can clearly see why someone might be vigorously irritated by it.

No no no... No... Clones were badass. They were the genetic material of one of the best Mandalorian warriors of the time. They weren't Stormtroopers. Clones were largely retired after the foundation of the Galactic Empire.
Iirc many of the few remaining Clones served in the 501st, but I may be wrong here. I'm sure others in the forum can correct me in that case.
Oh, and +1 on Pong Krell. He was intimidating and ruthless, and the way he owned dozens of Clone troopers was scary to behold.

It was frustrating to see him treating the clones poorly, but I actually liked the story aspect of it.. until the end when he went all "mustache-twirly obvious villain is obvious". The tension was better when he was just a big **** Jedi general who didn't think much of clones, and they had to figure out how to deal with him. Because.. life is like that.

I can agree to this. It may have been more interesting if he was just a huge careless ****. This could have lead to some conflict with some (most) of the Jedi who care about the clones they command. The clones could have ultimately refused a future mission causing the Jedi consul to look into pong's treatment of the clones. Then he could have turned all dark sidey against anakin. Insulting anakin that he cares about pawns causing anakin to force choke his **** out. That would have been sweeter.
Would love to see that character (and many others) in the game.
The discussion about adding Dark/Fallen Jedi faction is wrong because then we should put there Dooku & Vader, and the number of Sith in this era is low anyway because of the "rule of two"... http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Rule_of_Two
Since placing Krell in a faction can be confusing, keep him as a Jedi. Give him Clone synergy, but like Grevious, so if Krell falls below 50% health, he will force a clone to tank. Or a buff/debuff that fits with his character, like all clone allies get 50% more attack, but lose 50% defense.
#CloneHelmets4Life...VICTORY!!!! "I don't like sand. It's coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere." The more you tighten your grip, CG/EA, the more whales will slip through your fingers (and go F2P or quit).

I like this post for two reasons. One, very nice suggestion. Two, very relevant username.

Ventress used force chooke on Anakin and Kenobi at the same time, but the Dooku betrayed her and fired at the
ship she was in.

They could add dooku and vader to it.
I just LOL'd so hard

Btw they should give him an anti-clone synergy

*Dark side character
*Jedi faction
*Anti-clone trooper skills.
Although anti-clone trooper skills are less useful in the game now, once they introduce more clones they might become handy.
It would also be unique to have a jedi in the dark side. (Talking about the game's character pool)
