No one want's to feel obliged to recognize a holiday when they don't celebrate it, there's no need to take offense from an objection like that
They still have the enjoyment of working towards level 80

I honestly don't understand why there isnt a lvl 30-50 version that requires like 1 droid and 1 Imperial. I'm level 80, this has no direct effect on me, but it seems like they could catch some new players in a spend now net if they also had a $5 bundle for say... 10 shards for RG and IG-86 plus some credits and training droids etc.
Also it allows everyone to at least play something when the event hits.

Good point. You would think they would make some money with starter packs and an idea such as yours. Makes me think the devs forget that some people have just barely started playing, or they are too dense to come up with something like that, or they just don't care anymore about new players and are trying to squeeze every penny out of the players that have been around for awhile.
