Did new update mess with purple gear drop.rates?

So post update tried to farm mk8 blas weapons proto and got 1 out of 20 tries. I mean drop rates have always been pretty bad for these but 1/20 is epic. Anyone else experiencing the same?

After the update I got 2/20 Kylo shards which I considered extreme bad luck but then was purple gearing for Daka and thought I will finish tomorrow as I had 8 to go with 10 fights worth of energy and somehow managed to get 8/9 and had one spare fight towards a different gear already. So you are just unlucky

I did notice something also farming IG86 but it's inconclusive still, I'll update here later...

haha i just went 0/38 attempts for an mk 8 blastech weapon mod. literally zero. guess this is what the devs call 'reduced cold streaks'

I spent 480 energy and had a 15% drop rate on Mk V gear. Normally it's 30%. Could be bad luck, could be something else.

I had 1 for 20 runs several days ago on the Mk VIII gear. Today I went 4 for 10 on it. Now, IG-86 shards from Cantina I'm 1 for 14 on today...

I posted earlier it took me 3 full refils for 1 MK8 BlasTech Weapon Mod Prototype

all i know is the purple dish needed for like every attacker g7/g8 gear drops like NEVER. Purple laptops drop like hotcakes.
