  Ventress is probably not a sith due to her breaking away from Count Dooku in the Clone Wars Animated TV series and siding with the Nightsisters (this is due to Sidious forcing Dooku to kill her as well to show his loyalty).
  
  Darth Sidious is not Empire Faction as his is not yet Emperor Palpatine (which is what you see in the game's startup screen on the far left with his black overalls and force lightning). As Darth Sidious, he is purely a sith.
  
  I have a guess that there is no Separatist Faction as then you would need a Galactic Republic Faction to counter it, which is..basically every light side character from Ep 1 - 3.
