R2D2, Jedi Luke, Rebel Leia and Scoundrel Han are almost, most likely, probably going to be in the game.

Here you can see on the left in the help screen the available character shards. They should all be available. YAY!!!
Luke's outfit is definitely different to his Tattooine outfit (I thought he would be wearing his black Jedi outfit for contrast between the two). Han has his signature shirt and vest on. Leia is wearing her Hoth outfit and R2D2 can be seen also.
