"Mockery: Oh, Master, I love you, but I hate all you stand for! But I think we should go press our slimy, mucus-covered lips together in the cargo hold!"
I saw it a 2nd time just to confirm that Kylo does indeed stab himself in the forearm with his light saber crossguard during final battle with Finn and Rey. I suspect Abrams will edit this out for the DVD release.

yeah, that was a dumb gimmick i agree. The crossguard is just over the top absolutely impractical. Its like having a gun that fires out the barrel and the breach. much more dangerous to the user than any advantage it would give against the enemy.

Anyways, I have seen this 6 times and plan to go see it a seventh time this week end. I think this will surpass Blade as the most times I have seen a single movie in the theaters, third I think is Guardians of the Galaxy at 3...
I just watched it again on the flight to LA today. Some interesting things I didn't pick up on. There are a few very firm hints at who Rey's father is. And it isn't the obvious choice.
Three times. And will probably see it one or two times more before it comes out on BluRay, after which I'll be watching it over and over and over...
Ever since I saw the original Star Wars over 30 years ago (actually closer to "almost 40"), I've been watching them a couple of times a year. At least. Know 95% of the dialogue by heart (aside from the changes Lucas made - for me the Emperor never says "the young Rebel who destroyed the Death Star", he said "The son of Skywalker"). Strangely enough, I've never felt the same way about the prequels. Seen them 4-5 times and don't feel the need to watch them so often. But Episode VII... I KNOW I'll be watching it a lot.

You do know the cross guard light saber has been in star wars for a long time right? The cross guard is not new. New to the movies. Not new to star wars lore.
Nine! Six times in 2D, two in 3D and the last one was IMAX 3D.
Holy _____. Just curious, what age are you? Many of us liked it, but I'd be surprised if someone like me from the original trilogy generation liked it that much.
My ally code: 296-673-769. Wish we could have more than 35.

Well, I'm OT-generation and I absolutely loved it. Can't decide if I like TFA or ESB better. The single reason why I've only seen the movie three times is because I don't really have the time to go see it again (although I might over the next 2 or 3 weeks). However, the moment it comes out on BR, I'm getting it and watching it over and over again until I know it by heart I only wish they released a collector's edition of the movie, kinda like they did with Lord of the Rings (have all three).

My thoughts on that...
