Donating extra shards in guilds?

I'm sure this has been asked before, but I'm new and I can't find anything about it.

Since we can request and donate gear in guilds, can we please do the same with extra shards? It would make farming some of these almost impossible characters a little easier...

    I'd love the donation thing to expanded A LOT! Many of us (probably most of us) have a crazy number of some gear, and it's just sitting there useless. Let us share with our guild mates!

    Selling gear back like we can with mods would be cool too.

    Or trade the gear for Stun Cuffs.

    I would love to trade shards with guild members and ally's even if we could only trade 5 shards per day
