I've gotten it a couple times, but regardless of the specific gear finishing 11-20 gets you 25/20 or 20/16 of the same g12+ gear you get at 1-10. You can't get a full craft of anything, and that's bad, but to say there's no good gear at 11-20 is simply untrue.
of course its not game breaking, but once it gets to that point (or just 11), its only getting worse from that point on. more even rewards can never be bad for a lower GP guild.
And for the guild the mercs temporarily leaves. The merc gets top 10 and that let's 1 one other member that wouldn't have gotten top 10 get it. So that guild gets 11 members with top 10 rewards and is stronger for it.
yea my guild recently started alternating 5 groups of 10 for HSTR. 11-49 will just be random for you for 4 runs and you get guaranteed top 10 every 5 HSTR runs. It seems to work fine for us
Well, it's 11-20. Assuming you hit the same pieces every time, it will take 2-5 raids to get enough salvage. They claim you will usually hit the 20/16, so on average if you always get the same piece, you will be able to craft whatever that is every 2 weeks.
15 G12+ at rank 14 So you need to get rank 11-15 4 times (2 weeks since there is 2 raid per week limit) to get a g12+ piece and that’s assuming you don’t fall below rank 15 because of RNG or else it will take you 3-4 weeks to craft one g12+ piece
Id find it also an acceptable solution if they buffed the rewards for 11-50 while also nerfing the top10 loot.The few times I made top10 @HSTR I got at least one sometimes two ful gearpieces. For 11th place you get about 25% of that. The scaling isnt representative of the effort every player has to put in to get there…
Now for rank 3, these rewards are “subpar” with only one full craft. These would be amazing for anything below 11 by comparison simply because of the full 12.5 craft. But the issues are the same not just in this tier but all. WHY are there still tanks rewards in the HSTR? They are not needed. They are not in high demand…
If there are 11 solos, then yes. But the placement is determined by rng so you'll likely get your share of rewards over the long term. If you are talking guilds that don't have 10 solos, then that's just not true. The person that got 10th developed teams that could do more damage and ran them more effectively. That's why…
