Double shard drops on GW

So on Sunday I get a Leia shard from node 9 then CUP (I think), on completion, yesterday another Liea on 9 (that 2* Leia I got from my one 8x Chromium buy is paying off!) And someone else on completion. Really lucky on RNG (had Vader Sat and Maul before now) but was wondering how rare or not for shard on node 9 is? I know it's RNG but do you see it somewhat frequently? Also do shards only drop on Purple nodes? (I'd assume, but do we know?) Thanks

    i don't know for sure. I know ive gotten two days of double drops but neither was on node 9. Both toward the end though. Ill take a guess and say I did gw and got to those stages about 70 times give or take.

    It probably appeared as if you were getting double rewards throughout GW, including tokens. This is a graphical glitch.

    Don't think its a graphic glitch, I definitely got Leia shards on node 9, I checked my Tally and its sitting at 7 ATM. Maybe shard dropped there only and not on completion as I don't know\check those toons.
