It’s crazy that a player can play this game from the start, yet now we have to join a guild to enter territory wars. It’s crazy with the amount of money we put into this game and now can’t play the full game.

Puts so much more work in an already work loaded event.
Grand Arena doesn't require a guild, and you cannot play the full game without raids which also requires a guild. Its for your own benefit to join one or make a guild up with yourself as the only member
TW is not the only element that requires a guild, and much of it is "required" to gear toons. not sure how you could play for that long without joining a guild or expect to not need it.
