defensive squads in TW and GA

Hello.
I have question about leaders in defensive squads on TW and GA.
Is ability if dead leader works in next battles?

For example.
I set up defensive squad with Bastila shan as a leader (we all know her leader ability), but if she is defeated in first fight but rest of her squad wins the battle, is her ability works in next battles or another squad member takes the leader seat (for example Yoda ).

No, the leader ability is disabled if the leader is defeated.

I'm wondering if in the next battle there is new leader (if the defeated leader ability is not working) ??

No there is no next in line for the leader ability. In all matches following the match in which the leader died there will be no leader bonus.

I don’t think it’s written anywhere but I could be wrong. In all of the TW and GA matches I’ve done, I’ve never seen a leader ability carried over if you’ve beaten the original leader.

An excellent way to deal with good NS Talzin teams. Knock out Talzin (or daka), timeout, next attack they are gone, if Talzin no leader ability
