When is it likely that this even is returning? Farming has been slow going with hard node changes, so I wanted to see if I would be close.

Plan on it being next week. Be happily surprised when it doesn't show up since you haven't finished yet. Finish your characters. Then wait and be disappointed when it doesn't show up the next week.
