How to beat malgus proving ground event

So darth malgus is my only conquest toon I ever got to almost halfway farmed when his rotation in conquest shop ended and became a proving ground only reward. I have been absolutely decimated in every proving ground I attempt and have just about given up on ever farming any of these toons since everything i do ends in failure. I dont recall seeing what teams are best for malgus so any help on what i should be doing would be appreciated

I think i used my JML with JKL and revan to beat it, might have been JKL lead or JML tho i dont remember

Depends on your roster, i run scoundrels most of the time so here's mine:
GL rey, bando, vandorchewie, ig88 and kuiil got me 3 stars there.

JMK with CAT works too if you time the instakill right. If you share your allycode someone might be able to give it a look and see what in your roster will work for you.

I was able to beat him for the first time this past round. I don't have any GLs yet, so it's been a struggle. R3 Traya, R3 Nihilus, R3 Sion, R5 Talon, R4 Malak got the job done. I think Traya, Nihilus, and Malak were still standing. Getting Nihilus to annihilate Malgus was huge
