This depends on what time zone you are in. I am PST (where EA is located) and it was still January 13th when Jesse posted the above mentioned comment.
this is sooooooo confusing when does the patch come out PST 14th or 15th?
From his post "NOTE: there is always a slight chance that the update may be delayed, but if that is the case it would then go live Friday. If this happens we'll let you know in advance."
From that the patch is set to go out today (Thursday) but could be delayed until Friday

A specific time has not been provided, but according to EA Jesse's message it will be late 14th (PST), but could be delayed until the 15th if they run into issues. Temper your expectations. I think it will only be more levels, bug fixes, and a cap increase. He said he would post details later today.
