What are Aurodium Cards?

In the tips that run across the top of the store I noticed one said

Chromium & Aurodium card can only be purchased with crystals

I have never seen or heard of Aurodium cards is this something coming in an upcoming patch or is it a temporary thing that's already gone? What do you get from Aurodium cards?

    They used to be around in soft launch they were more then chromium about 3000 crystals and used to garuntee characters and complete purple gear. They dropped 12 small
    Packs
    Then they changed it to just chromium 8 packs and no more gear

    Bummer I was hoping it was something new coming, thanks for the info though.
