And for Jedi, depends what you mean by most powerful. There's always Revan if you want sheer brute force, but he's always been more of a gray character to me. There is the exile if you want force bonds (she was pretty powerful in her own right too, beat 3 Sith Lords, two of them by her self.) there is any of the masters of soresu if you count not dying in battle as powerful.
Sidous without a doubt used a force storm destroyed a planet was not actually ever beaten Vader surprised him and he let mace so anakin would come and intervene. Little fact a lot don't know is Mace was actually choking on his lightsaber emission and sidous was actually bending it, and no where near as tired a fragile like he showed to anakin in the movie.
