If you place first in arena shard can you attack lower shard mates or do you have to wait to get bumped down the leader board.

If you're 1st, you can hit 2 3 and 4. Win or lose, you stay 1st until some1 else beats you

You can attack lower, but don't move position. Most people will attack a lower person close to payout to lock in, since you can't be attacked while in battle.

True if you still have to deal with snipers. If you get in contact with your shard mates this is normally not needed much though.
