Anyone had any experience with requesting a refund for a mistake?

I made a stupid mistake, I spent 1400 crystals on what i thought was a Mk 5 gun, it was a Mk 4, of which I have 1400+ salvage. I feel really sick but it was my fault, I'm just wondering if anyone has had any experience with something like this or where I should send a request, I've never asked for anything like this so I'm hoping someone will take pity on me. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

The same thing happened to me a while ago, it was terrible. It taught me to be a lot more careful though. I don't think you're going to have any luck getting those crystals back.
Not a day goes by when I don't think back on those 1400 crystal I wasted and wonder what could have been. /sigh

I don't have any experience with it myself but I've heard of people getting this mistake reversed since it is an easy mistake to make.
