Why Phoenix Squad and not Spectre Squad?
Since these new Phoenix Squad characters are coming out, I finally got around to binge watching this series. Star Wars Rebels. I like it a lot. Cool characters with interesting stories. I Especially like how it ties in to the larger story. I am really looking forward to inquisitors, agent Kallus, Old Rex, and Old Maul.
The thing I am trying to understand is this group of 6 characters refers to themselves as Spectre Squad throughout the series and they all have codenames: Spectre 1, Spectre 2..... Spectre 6
It is only later in the series that they join a larger rebel force, Phoenix Squad, that includes dozens of other ships and probably a few hundred other rebels and pilots. This specific group of 6 characters is not Phoenix Squad, they are a small part of Phoenix Squad.
Did the developers of this game not watch the show or is there something I am missing?
