Checking for updates - connection error

The game is now unplayable for me. I just get the same message that there is a connection error.

Have tried restarting tablet, restarting wifi, force stopping swgoh, and lastly deinstalling and reinstalling swgoh from the app store. No change.

All other apps on the tablet are working fine. Using it to post this, and can chat to my guildies on Line and Discord.

I'm having the same issue. Stuck at "checking for updates". Tried all the usual fixes to no avail

I have the same error and now a I can't play. Do you find how to resolve the problem?

It's a common issue due to your wifi provider....Reset your router and should work...Of this doesn't work try checking to see if the port you are using is being blocked by firewall
