Does anyone think zqgj with zyoda gk aayla plo koon could still be a viable team for arena? My shard is mainly zaul and zader.
I've seen recent videos of a top 3 player with this team and he does well.

Better question is, is it viable without GK. With GK they do well on offense and like any type of team not as well on defense.

I'd say no, unless you've got some awesome speed mods on there. And I'd ditch Plo for Zarris. Plo is a great pilot and has an awesome ship, but other than that he's kinda blah. Can be handy as leader for a Zaul team what with his stealth null, but not at the expense of ZQGJ. No way.

Ditch Plo and put in Anakin and you've got a decent team. Not unbeatable, but good enough to compete near the top.

I'd ditch Plo and use Anakin as well. Max out all abilities except leader of course with ZQGJ. Another option could be Zaris.

I don't have zeta BM, I'm always in top 10, always payout in 1 or 2 spot. Current team is ZQGJ, Yoda, JKA, Zarriss, Baze

So I ended up getting zqgj, I use him in arena I finished first today at my payout. I'd say zeta yoda (battle meditation ) is a must fo my team. My squad:
Z qgj
Z yoda
Aayla secura
General kenobi
Darth nihilus
When I get r2 d2 I will probably zeta his 'number crunch' and use him instead of nihilus

For anyone considering using qgj z, in my opinion the absolute musts are:
Yoda to be your fastest character for the tenacity up first (mine is at 296 speed under qgj lead)
You must have general kenobi
You must have aayla secura (even over anakin)
All characters must be fast (mine have at least +80 speed from mods)
All must be at gear 11
I realise some of these seem obvious but still hopefully this might help someone

I think without GK, R2 will be a nice to have for its cleanse. I'm currently running zQGJ, Yoda, JKA, Ahsoka and Boba. zYoda is good if you have a TFP faster than your Yoda. So, Yoda can give back Foresight. Also, cooldown is reduced by 1. Ezra will be also great in a zQGJ team. Once geared, he will replace my 5th spot.
