Improvements to Delayed Damage and Leader Healing Question [Dev's help clarify]

Improvements to Delayed Damage
Previously, abilities which caused Damage over Time (DoT) or had a time-delay element in their damage could not kill an enemy unit when it started its turn. That is no longer the case.
Units with a DoT, bomb, or similar effect on them will suffer the correct amount of damage at the very start of their turn. If that takes them to zero health, they will die before taking their turn.

So my question is, when a character who has a DoT/bomb/whatever on them, but they received a healing Leader buff (like Lumi or Barriss), does the DoT go first at the beginning of the character's turn, or does the healing buff take precedence before the DoT is applied? Can one of the Dev's please answer this question, as it is a major factor in Arena strategy, etc...
