In Game Recruiting

Developers, please find a way to make guild recruiting easier within the game. There has to be a way to reach some of the lower level players to get them to join up and grow with a group of more experienced players. The point of guilds is teamwork and group play. So make it easier for us to build up teams.

The only methods available or to use the forums (which it seems only very dedicated players will venture), recruit them from your allies list (which is moot because they are already your ally), or grab them from the arena rankings (which of course none of those players are without a guild).

We should be able to reach the newer players, or at least boost the visibility on the "Join a Guild" page when new players try to get the achievement (which is the only driver for joining a guild early).

If anybody else agrees, please feel free to comment. I see there are 10 million (exaggerated) posts in the guild recruitment section of the forums. This should be seen as a red flag.

Only way to do what you're proposing is to allow in game IM's. Which sounds terrible.

There could be a player search similar to the guild search. They could allow us to search by level, activity, etc.. This would be an in-game invitation. I see no harm in that.

I guess if users were getting spammed by guild invites, they could have a setting to ignore guild invitations. Players already in a guild, however, should not be searchable.

Agree to disagree. Not like it matters regardless as I don't see the devs making this a priority.

You're right. This wouldn't be a high priority. Perhaps someone who was skilled in the web arts could create a easier way to connect players outside of the forums, and the developers could link up to it?

I actually like your idea of making players that are guildless searchable by criteria. Players can choose to be searchable for guilds or not. You can then send them guild invites directly in game. Don't really see harm in this at all. This doesn't require IM to be added to game and should be fairly easy to do. The game does seriously lack in this area.

maybe the guild invite could include a brief message description of your guild so you could list things like requirements so the player could decide to accept or not.

Still pushing this. I think it can be added as a simplified search function with little to no push-back from clan-less players.

Forums not working for recruiting. Surely there is a developer who can add a search for recruiting members...

If i happened 2 b guildless w/ a good roster and on the receiving end of spam invites, it wouldn't take long to frustrate the heck outta me.

Guildless players can search and apply at their leisure. Your proposal would lead to SWGoH tele-marketing imo.

There would definately have to be a way for players to select if they show up or not. Possibly have a list of players who opt to be recruited, or players can only be messaged 1 time per guilr invite?
