Eeth Koth worth the tokens?

I have saved 19,000 arena tokens, which I was planning on using after the update, assuming that new characters would be added to arena shipments. However, with the Jedi only even also unlocking with the new update I was wondering if I should use all those tokens to get another Jedi to 6*. Koth doesn't seem very valuable to me, but I thought I would see what others' opinions of him are. Does anyone use him regularly?

I don't have him but I've seen him in action. He has a reliable stun on his special and is good vs droids. His average damage is about see as jc.
I'm also spending saved up points to eventually 7 star him for.... yoda. There is no way around it for me, so hopefully.....yoda...is worth it.

After maxing Sid, I have nobody else from arena I am crazy about. I had been pumping credits toward IG88 just because I also have Poggle, IG86 and Poe. So changing that to Eeth required no trepidation.

You could even check out Jedi Master Ailan on youtube, he does daily gameplay with Eeth Koth, and he is quite happy with Eeth being at 7 stars.

I am using my built up arena credits on Eeth and Savage Opress (who looks like he could be pretty strong aft er the update). I have them both at 3 stars now, very close to 4.

I think eeth and other niche power characters will be more relevent after the update as we will be able to see the opponents full team in arena. I like the idea of subbing in characters like eeth vs droids and maul vs heavy jedi teams. We'll see though. Power levels for certain characters at the moment do seem to be way below the curve so maybe knowing what we face won't be enough to utilise them. But I can hope!

I'm in a similar position, but I'm going to save them until the new patch comes out to see if they add some different characters. I would encourage you to try and hold out as well.

I know most will be going for Koth since they will want to compete the Jedi challenge but I'll already have the Jedi I need to work on:

QGJ 4*
barriss 4*
Lumi 7*
JC 5*
Ahsoka 3*
Mace 4*

Any speculation on whether Savage will be a better option vs Eeth since the former will be getting a decent buff? Obviously if new characters are added to arena this moot.

I'd go with Koth. Savage is better but it'll be forever before you can get QGJ and Ahsoka to 7* so if you plan on using the new character you're going to need a faster way to star up Jedi. But again, if you really don't care about the challenge Savage is better.

I use koth in my main team, at 7* stars and and highest gear level im very happy with this toon. High stun rate on special attack and she usually hits for 5-6k on special and and at least 3-4k on normal attack, couple that with high health! I love this toon!

Right but I doubt most people will have 5x 7* jedi for a while either. I really hope they add another Jedi to GW. But your point is taken... Ill need to farm a Jedi that doesn't interfere with farming others. IE QGJ and Ahsoka, Barriss and Mace.

Doing him/her(?) as I already have 88 and Sid. Was doing 47, but no big loss.

I have no interest in him, I'd rather wait for the next event while I farm Barriss than have him on my team.

I was thinking of doing this as I have 20k saved up also but just can't bring myself to spend them on him. I've got Lum 7*, JC 6*, QGJ 4* working to 5*, Ahsoka 3* working to 4*, and 21/80 of Mace Windu. I decided to go with Mace over Eeth as he just seems a much more powerful option after the update. He'll be harder to star up but for now I'm content to just try and get him, Ahsoka and QGJ to 5* by or early into the update so I have a shot at getting 5* Yoda during the first run of the event.
