Star Wars Celebration and ally codes?

For those that had their ally code written down/taken a picture of during the Star Wars Celebration...
Anyone know why they did that? I haven't received any special anything- rather never got the impression that I would but....

Met Jesse which was pretty neat. Apparently a lot in the hopper as far as content is concerned.
