Rancor raid bugged

For the past one week whenever I attack, the rancor is able to use his special before the cooldown is over. Usually there are 2 turns left when it eats one of my toons. Any explanation?

Did he just do his AoE slam and 2 of your chars were under 50% health?

If the rancor does his smash and knocks any of your toons below 50% health his devour cooldown is decreased. It's in the rancor description.
