Zader or Palp lead for R2D2 event?

My 5 best are Zader, Palp, RG, Tarkin, TFP. Also have magma and snowtrooper but not G11.

No actually, "Zader" is slang for "vader with a zeta ability". "Slang" (shortened language) refers to shortened terms that convey the same meaning with fewer characters. Its a bit like acronyms ("lol" for "laugh out loud", "omg" for "oh my god", etc).

Like many for 7 star I have Zader, TFP, Palp, RG and Tarkin...

I will likly have Palp lead... As that will give some healing on Zader and Palp.

Pretty sure it won't matter. These events are generally very easy.

I don't get why people ask these kinds of questions...
1) No one else has done the event so we don't have any special insight.
2) It's not like you're only limited to one try, if one lead doesn't work, try the other. But in all honesty, both will probably work.

I just hope the event is open for more then a weekend... Need to wait for event to see if I need to beef up my squad.

As for difficulty.... No-one really knows. Whales with 7 star stormtrooper or Death Trooper/Krennic will breeze through the event... If all you have is Vader-TFP-Palp and 2 fillers you may have issues if tier7 consists of 5 or more battles...
